Darren Criss made it big with his role on Glee. Glee seems like one of those shows that’ll send people into a real career when they’re done.
That said, Criss has a lot of talent, but there are others who I think have more. The Lang brothers in particular. I hope to see more from them.
Both shows are very clever, both as homages to the Potter books and movies, and as theater per se. The music is fun and catchy, the jokes are spot-on and well-timed, and the characters are unique, while staying true to the originals.
Lots of fun all around, and definitely worth the watch. Stick around and catch the troupe’s other pieces, Me and My Penis and Starkid.
